The Ethnographical Museum is the only museum one can find in Denpasar/ located on Mayor Wisnu Street next to Jagatnatha Temple. It was built m December 8 th, 1932 in which displayed various old objects in four main buldings called : Gedung Timur, Gedung Buleleng/ Gedimg Karangasem and Gedung Tabanan.
In Gedung Timur is displayed many kinds of pre-historic collections mcluding equipments of Bali’s traditional technology.
Local people with family froin every comer of the city regularly visit the park in the aftemoon and on Sundays various programs for children are held to make the atmosphere more cheerful. Puputan square is also the site where some rituals are held like : “Saraswati” Holiday to celebrate the descend of Holy Commands of Vedas, “Tawur Agung Kesanga”, (Great Sacrificial Ceremony to welcome Nyepi, the Isaka New Year), and “Ogoh-ogoh” procession m the evening.

Purancak is located on the Southern coastal area of West Ball. At the West tip of Purancak village there is atemple named Purancak Temple facing west towards Purancak rive :with its calm water while wild coastal vegetations grow the both side of the river.
Delod Berawah beach known as sloping beach with black sand is an ideal place for recreation, swimming and other activities. Once, there is a belief that its black sand can heal a kind of rheumatism, however it is need to be proven. The main attraction of this beach is at sunset time when a row of the fishermen traditional “Jukung” catching fish become glowing red under the twilight.
Having stoney beach andbig waves,Medewi has been considered as an ideal place for surfing. Its sloping part on the west with a bit receding to the South where a number of traditional rowing boat (jukung) tied up has made an amazing panorama mainly at thi time of sunset.
Sitting on the upper part of the beach, one can enjoy the wave splashing downward.
“Bunut Bolong” is literally a “Bunut” (ficus) tree growing very big under which tree a road was then built. This tree is quite specific for having a very big hole (as wide as the asphalted road passing throught it) in the middle of its bottom part, that even a big bus can pass through it, so the big tree is just like an entrance gate.
Alas Kedaton Temple also often called “Dalem Kahyangan” Temple (Kahyangan means “Nirvana/Paradise”), is located at the South of Menalun village, district of Marga Tabanan regency or about 15 km from Denpasar to the North-West. It can easily be reached by motored vehicles and the road signs are sufficiently clear.
Yeh Panes is known as a beautiful natural resting place, located on an upperland of a river surrounded by fresh vegetation and green forest. Adjacent to the place is terraced ricefield extended along the river. Right at the location of the hot spring one will find a waterfall while the hot spring comes up in the middle of a temple under the big banyan tree.
